History

IFAD Autos was established in 1985 to serve the transportation needs of Bangladesh by taking up the sole dealership from Ashok Leyland, providing a massive range of commercial vehicles. Since inception, the company had supplied over 60000 vehicles to thousands of organizations in the country with an established network of showrooms, dealers, zonal offices and authorized service stations providing nationwide reach. The company is one of the market leaders in the supply of Heavy Duty Trucks, Buses and Light Commericial Vehicles. Auto industry heavy weights like Escorts Group and TVS Motors of India are also partnered with IFAD to serve the Bangladesh market. The company underwent an IPO in January 2015 to mark its significant expansion in operations - namely a state of the art full scale assembly plant in technical collaboration with Ashok Leyland, having a capacity to roll out 10000 vehicle units annually.

Assembly Plant

IFAD Autos Ltd. has established a full scale assembly plant in technical collaboration with Ashok Leyland in early 2017. This assembly plant is the only of its kind in scale and in technology in the history of Bangladesh with a capacity to roll out 10000 vehicles per annum. IFAD Autos is also in the process of setting up a truck and bus bodybuilding facility.
